Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé

Jean Roland-Billecart in the 1970’s decided to craft a distinguished rosé Champagne that was pale in color, integrated with freshness and with a flavor of red berries. It became the House’s flagship cuvée. The Champagne Billecart- Salmon estate is 250 acres and grapes are sourced from 740 acres with 40 acres of cru vineyards in Champagne. The majority of the grapes derive around the area of Epernay. This rosé Champagne has always been revered by discerning consumers.

Thiscuvée is composed of 40% Chardonnay from great crus, 30% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne and 30% Pinot Meunier. It is aged for 36 months on the lees. The delicate salmon color opens with bright toasty aromas. Within is a creamy texture of crushed red raspberries and red plums that finds plenty of harmony with a background of finely crushed chalk. This champagne remains elegant and refined until its memorable finish.
