Champagne Palmer & Co. Blanc De Blancs

Champagne Palmer & Co. was founded nearly 70 years ago in 1947 by a group of seven growers with Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in Montagne de Reims of France. Cellar Master Xavier Berdin creates the blend using different grape varieties, cru vineyards and reserve wines. The backbone of the Blanc de Blancs is Chardonnay sourced from three cru vineyards in Montagne de Reims and the Côte de Sézanne.

This is 100% Chardonnay aged in the bottle for five years. This crystalline Champagne is always one of my favorites in the world of Champagne. Freshly baked bread and jasmine welcome you on the entry with a pillow-like mousse. There are ripe apple blossoms and honeycomb layered with delicate mineral notes and freshness. The complexity and graceful framework of this wine makes this a very compelling bottling and one of my favorite Blanc De Blancs Champagnes on the market.
