Champagne Palmer Rose´ Solera

In 2015 Champagne Palmer was introduced into the U.S. market. It was founded nearly 70 years ago by a group of seven growers with Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims of France. Cellar Master Xavier Berdin creates the blend using different grape varieties, cru vineyards and reserve wines.
This exquisitely crafted Rose´ Champagne is composed of 40% Chardonnay, 40 % Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier and is enriched with an 8% Solera blend of reserve Pinot Noir from several decades. It presents itself with a pinkish, orange hue and a very fine mousse. This wine has an exotic floral aroma of wild strawberry and lavender that keeps your undivided attention for minutes. The core of red currants, star fruits and red raspberry foam meld together into a creamy core that’s held together with soft acidity. This one of the most memorable and well-crafted Rose´Champagnes that I have tasted in over three decades.
