Val D’Oca Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG

Val D’Oca is a contemporary cooperative, Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene that was established in 1952 by 129 grape growers. It currently has 591 members. Their vineyards total nearly 1,400 acres on the hilly slopes that surround Valdobbiadene in Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The cooperative owns 34.4 acres of cru vineyards on Cartizze.

Very pale with a translucent appearance and slightly pink edges. This sparkler begins with bright floral aromas and a persistent effervescence in the glass. On entry, you are greeted by freshly picked orchard fruits of cherry pits, pink grapefruit, and white peach anchored by a flickering background of lemon basil and ginger. This is a delightfully fruit-driven Prosecco. There are delicate layers of creamy fruits on the mid-palate that persist well into the finish. It is 100% Glera with an alcohol of 11.5%.
