The modest production of his 100% Syrah is sourced from the Paderewski Vineyard and aged for 19 months in French Oak. The opaque–ruby color is an early indication of the depth and complexity of this beauty. The bouquet reminds you of fresh cut flowers on a spring day and scents of purple violets. The creamy core is expansive as it glides across your palate with baked black plums, black raspberries and macerated dark cherries. Within are some savory elements of garrique and thyme with a hint of crush stones. It is beautifully textured and melded together with a layer of chocolate fudge that lingers in the back of your mouth for seconds. After each sip you are inclined to return and finish the bottle.
