It has an intense garnet-red color with a tint of purple. This wine is solidly made and pure Syrah. The aromas are delicate. showing blackberry with cedar, vanilla, and a hint of mint and smoke. It remains full bodied and rich on the palate with juicy sweetness and a firm tannic structure. The acidity is present and lifts the palate even further to a higher level. This wine is tightly wound together, exploding with flavors through the mid palate and extending to a long caressing finish. It is drinking beautifully now but should continue to evolve for another 5 years in the cellar.
