In the town of Vernou-sur-Brenne, within the Loire Valley, is third generation winegrower L'EARL Damien Pinon. He owns and manages 71 acres of the family estate vineyards dedicated to still and sparkling Vouvray.

This Vouvray invites you into a world of pure exotic pleasures. The light soft yellow color opens with aromas of tropical pineapple and stone fruits. The aromas beckon you inside to experience the viscous flavor profile of pineapple marmalade, pineapple bread pudding, orange rind, almonds and a slight touch of minerality that all meld together. The core is lively and rounded with a long, persistent fresh finish. This provocative wine kept the panel’s interest during the entire evening. I continue to be amazed by the varying personalities of Vouvray grown in the same region.
