This is the third vintage for Joseph Phelps Ovation sparkling wine. This cuvee is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir sourced from the estate Freestone Vineyards in Sonoma Coast. This bright, crystalline appearing sparkling wine has aromas of apple blossom and roasted pecans. It has a fine mousse that leads you to a vibrant, crisp entry of stone citrus fruits, lemon zest, white tangerine and chamomile. The mid-palate is clean and refreshing with youthful acidity keeping it constantly fresh and in balance. This sparkler is certain to develop with additional bottle age.
