Part of the expansive and renowned portfolio of Duckhorn wines this project was established in 2001. The wines explore small lot, site-specific coastal expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Russian River Valley, Santa Maria Valley and Santa Rita Hills. Dana Epperson is the winemaker.

This deep ruby colored wine explodes on the mid-palate with a spice rack of flavors. This is like indulging in your grandmother’s freshly baked mixed berry pie. It has savory textures of strawberry compote, dried violets, red currants and a dusting of cinnamon. It has plenty of finesse at this stage and is brightened with some minerality, finely grained tannins and earth in the background. This is a classic presentation of a memorable Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley.
