2018 Resonance Vineyard Yamhill-Carlton Estate Pinot Noir

After surveying this unique Willamette Valley site, Thibault Gagey and Jacques Lardière of Maison Louis Jadot founded Resonance. Jacques had been the lead winemaker at Maison Louis Jadot in Burgundy, France for 42 years and Thibault’s family had operated Maison Louis Jadot since 1962. This was Maison Louis Jadot’s first venture outside of Burgundy. Resonance is a 20-acre single-vineyard, estate property with south facing slopes that was established in 1981. The soils are ancient, submarine basaltic sediment at elevations ranging from 262 to 492 feet.

The delicate crimson hue of this wine opens with elegant savory undertones. There are inviting aromas of wild strawberry and red raspberries intermixed with cedar and baking spices that flow effortlessly across your palate. This Pinot Noir remains graceful and elegant through its long finish.
