2018 Stoller Famiy Estate “Ruth’s” Pinot Noir

Noir Stoller Vineyards was founded in 2001 by Bill Stoller who now also owns legendary Chehalem Wines. He opened his own winery in 2006 to make Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. They currently have 210 acres of vineyards planted.

“Ruth’s” Pinot Noir is named after Bill’s mother. It is sourced from the oldest plantings of Pommard clones in the vineyard. It is full, deeply colored, and meaty Within are concentrated, vibrant aromas of currants, violets and baking spices which fill the glass. On the palate, it’s extremely broad, complex and textured with a satiny finish. Even better when revisited the next day.
