2019 DuMoL Wester Reach Russian River Pinot Noir

Founded in 1996, DuMOL is a latter-day pioneer in the Russian River Valley. Winemaker, Viticulturist and Partner, Andy Smith farmed the region for nearly a decade before joining in 1999. Associate Winemakers Julie Cooper and Jenna Davis along with Cellar Master Jaime Eufracio have over 40 years of combined experience at DuMOL.

The DuMOL Wester Reach Pinot Noir is a serious and impressive wine; it is a classic Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. In the glass the color reveals a dark ruby and terrific viscosity. Aromas out of the glass are floral followed by mixed berries, baked cherry, brown spices, and a hint of earth. The palate has substantial structure with layers of fruit flavor, slightly tart and backed by fresh acidity along with finely grained tannins. The finish is long, juicy, and balanced with a mineral at the end. Wonderfully crafted, this Russian River Pinot Noir should age well over the next 5 years.
