2019 Kosta Browne Treehouse Pinot Noir

This fog laden, 14-acre site is situated eight miles from the Pacific Ocean within the soul of Russian River Valley. Forty percent of this wine is aged in new oak barrels for 16 months.

What’s not to like about any of the Kosta Browne Pinot Noirs. They are all rather exotic in style. This Pinot Noir flaunts a dark ruby -garnet color. Aromas of red spring berries, rose petals and dried flowers burst from the glass. This is a bold and rich offering with plenty of polished edges that speak to the terroir of Russian River Valley. The lovely mid-palate is concentrated with crème de cassis, red plums, cedar and exotic spices. The tannins are ripe, supple and silky. The caressing length of this wine goes on for minutes leading to a long and memorable finish.
