2020 Bouvet Cremant de Loire
The value priced Cremant de Loire styled wines are a great alternative to Champagne.. In 1851, at the age of 23, Etienne Bouvet with his wife Celestine Ladubay founded Bouvet Ladubay. In 1974, Claude Taittinger of the French house of Champagne Taittinger acquired the property. Currently, it has the latest state of the art technology in crafting sparkling wines.
This sparkler is made in the traditional method with Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. The pale yellow color opens with inviting aromas of yellow citrus fruits and a pleasant hint of yeast. The middle core is bright and fresh with spiced apples and field flowers. While not overly complex, it is harmonious, balanced and well-crafted.
