This vintage of Canon La Gaffeliere appears to be a little more restrained at this point in time, yet its true potential is yet to be revealed. Very youthful with a purple opaque rim. The pure concentrated black fruits and violet aromas are tightly wound together with finely ground youthful tannins. This wine will lead you to a core of dried flowers, anise, graphite, white pepper and crushed minerals. Give this wine some time in the cellar and it will expose its glorious inner self.
