Situated in the northern edge of Pauillac, this location has deep gravely soils with a clay-limestone base. Intensely ruby with a mixture of freshly picked red berries, currants and red licorice that are laced with a hint of Indian spices. It retains a classic Pauillac personality with elements of pencil shavings, minerality and pipe tobacco. There is a sense of purity along with very refined tannins.
