2020 Chateau La Mascaronne Rose´

Michael Reybier, owner of Chateau Cos d’Estournel in Bordeaux, purchased this estate in 2020. It heralds from the village of Le Luc in Provence This blend is composed of the typical Provence varietals of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Vermentino and Mourvèdre planted in clay-limestone soils.

The pinkish-orange hue of this wine showcases a bouquet of pressed roses and peonies. There are undercurrents of wild strawberry, pomegranate and red citrus infused with delicate spices and a hint of minerality. It is off-dry in style, but soft and rounded on the edges with a touch of salinity. This may be your prototypical summer rose´ for indoor or outdoor dining.
