2020 Fleur de Cardinale

The vineyards for this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe´ property rests on soils of limestone and clay. The saturated opaque purple hue opens to delicate scents of mixed wild berries. Within the concentrated core is raspberry marmalade, black plum jam and fruitcake spices complemented with crushed rocks and earth. Underneath the complexity of the wine is a hint of soft toasted oak and a delicate backbone that will evolve over time.
