2021 Chateau de Fesles Rose D'Anjou

Situated in the Middle Loire within Anjou, Château de Fesles was built in 1070. Monks had cultivated grapes on this site until it was purchased by Bouvin in 1870. For the past 12 years, the Helrich family has owned this estate and established it’s reputation.

This Roseè d’Anjou is composed of a blend of Cabernet Franc and Grolleau. In many ways this is a prototypical, well-crafted rose d’Anjou The beautiful shades of soft red colors herald a bouquet of freshly picked strawberries and warm fruits. The inner core is slightly deeper with crushed raspberries, watermelon and pomegranate. It does have a touch of ripeness, so sit back and savor this beverage by itself on a warm summer afternoon.
