2021 Domaines Schlumberger Les Princes Abbés Riesling

The Les Princes Abbés title is the Schlumberger family’s tribute to the Benedictine Abbots princes from the local Abbey at Murbach who maintained the vineyards in the area until the French Revolution in 1789 and were the first to sell the wines from Guebwiller abroad.

The 2021 Domaines Schlumberger Les Princes Abbés Riesling is planted within Bollenberg and the grapes are sourced from the vineyards of Saering and Kessler, and the young vineyards of the Kitterlé. This wine has a very pale yellow hue with pleasing aromas of flint and crushed stones. This wine is sleek with notes of stone fruits, garden flowers, sea salt and fine minerality. It is tightly wound with precision and fresh acidity.
