This wine is crafted with the same attention to detail as the Grand Vin wine of Chateau Smith Haute Lafitte Blanc. It is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon aged for 10 months on the lees with bâtonnage in 50% new oak barrels.

The Le Petit bottling is the younger sibling of the Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc and is a value offering for the price. It is a mirror image of its older brother, but a bit more subdued in its personality. It has a refreshing entry with white pineapple, tangerine and candied green apple notes intertwined with some finely crushed limestone and brine. The mineral elements are soft and subtle. It is graceful on the palate with gently rounded edges that add to its attractive and introverted style.
