If you followed the evolution of the great vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey, you will fully understand why the Pisoni name is etched into the record books as among the great, worldly wines in this region. Founded by Gary Pisoni in 1982, the first estate Pisoni Pinot Noir was released in 1998. Today, Jeff and Mark Pisoni oversee the property and its future direction. . In addition to the Pisoni namesake wines, they introduced the Lucia label in 2000.

The Pisoni Estate Chardonnay is sourced from 34 year old vines planted in 1999. The light golden color reveals a nose of baked lemon brioche. It is super clean and pure with great glycerin. In the middle core is ginger, dried apricot and an assortment of spices with nice sea salt minerality! This Chardonnay is extremely elegant, long and enjoyable!
