Planeta’s agricultural history in Sicily dates back five centuries to the 1600’s with 17 generations of family involvement. Planeta Winery has been in the forefront of winemaking in Sicily with seven wineries spread across five distinct regions. As they traveled throughout the island of Sicily, they established estates that would best interpret the indigenous and international varietals suited to the terroirs of the region. Along the way they remained focused on organic growing techniques and sustainability.

This wine is composed of 50% Grecanico, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Viognier and 10% Fiano aged in stainless steel and sourced from the territory of Menfi. The medium yellow shadow reveals a somewhat caramelized nose of white peach, honeysuckle and spring flowers. This finely chiseled white shines with bright notes of citron and starfruits backed by fresh, vibrant acidity. The finish is soft and engaging leaving the palate with a vibrant finish.
