Study the evolution of Russian River Valley and the Rochioli name is often referenced as one of the most iconic pioneers and respected grape growers and wineries in the region. According to third generation Tom Rochioli, “Italians always made wine, that’s how I learned.” At the age of seven Tom was rolling wine barrels up a ramp and washing them for his father. At that time, he had no idea that he would turn into a world-class winemaker.

The 2021 Rochioli Russian River Valley Chardonnay is an exotic single- vineyard composition of Little Hill 10%, Mid 40 56%, River Block 30% and Sweetwater 4%. This medium bodied, delicately colored Chardonnay opens with a fresh floral bouquet of lavender and peonies. There are notes of honeysuckle alongside tropical elements of mango, apricot and vibrant Clementine tangerines which adds balance to the core. There are hints of minerality and a dusting of cinnamon. Very Burgundian in character with a long, fresh finish.
