The Haas family, owners of Tablas Creek formed a partnership with the Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel fame in 1987. Robert Haas has been recognized for his contributions to the “American Rhone movement.”

The majority of this wine is composed of a classic French white Rhone blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Picpoul Blanc. There is a whiff of fresh spring flower aromas on opening. The mouth-feel has a glycerin-like texture with poached pear, ginger and tangerine rind within a nicely layered framework. There are wet river rocks and a fine minerality in the core with underlying salinity leading to a crisp, vibrant finish.
