The 2022 Brooks Estate Bois -Joli Riesling was enjoyable from start to finish. The almost white purity in color immediately caught my interest. With each sniff was a new discovery. There are pure aromas of white flowers, stone fruit (peach and nectarine), candied pineapple, chalky minerality and petrol that dissipated after several minutes. The palate is medium dry and viscous with a slight sweetness and plenty of juicy fruits. The texture is soft with good balance, leading to a fresh, delicious mouthfeel. The wine clocks in at 11.5% alcohol and has a lush characteristic. The finish is long and memorable. A lovely wine to sip at any time of day, or a wine to share with close friends.
