Owner and CEO, Joost De Villebois is a native of the Netherlands with a noble French family history. Joost began his international business career in France later developing a passion for wine while in Bordeaux. Joost and Miguela de Villebois established this estate family winery over 20 years ago in the village of Seigy in Touraine in the Loire Valley after purchasing a 40-acre parcel of vineyards. J De Villebois has become a specialist in the crafting of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre, Pouilly-sur-Loire and Menetou-Salon.

While tasting the wines from J De Villebois, you are instantly transported to a village in Sancerre. Beneath the pale hue are undertones of freshly peeled green apple skins, lime zest, ginger, clove and sprigs of dried herbs. This terroir-driven wine offers elements of lightly etched wet river stones and finely crushed rocks in the background. There is a seamless balance to this wine that makes it immediately appealing at every turn and the perfect compliment to Mediterranean cuisine
