Since 2008, winemaking at J De Villebois has been under the direction of Thierry Merlet. He was raised in the Loire Valley and finished his enology education in Beaune, France and the University of Bordeaux. Afterwards, Thierry expanded his work experience at wineries in Australia and Willamette Valley, Oregon. Later, he co-founded Domaine Levin in Touraine, crafting contemporary Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc.

A crystalline pale yellow color welcomes you with fragrances of orange blossom and fresh sea salt. Within the sophisticated and stylish core is a lovely flinty reduction along with elements of lemongrass, mint, beeswax and a delicate layer marzipan cream. The crushed limestone adds intrigue while balanced with graceful acidity that extends into a long and refined finish.
