2022 King Estate Pinot Gris, Willamette Valle

King Estate was established in 1991 by the King family and is committed to sustainable farming. Since 2002 King Estate has been organic. In 2016 they became the largest Biodynamic certified vineyard in North America. King Estate planted its first grapes in 1992 on a 16.5-acre parcel of land. Their first vintage was in 1995.
The pale yellow color of this Willamette Valley Pinot Gris glistens with lively aromatic details. It is nicely constructed with a fruit-driven framework of spiced apples, Bartlett pears and star fruits balanced with a dosage of delicate acidity. It stays fresh and graceful in the glass through the finish, urging you to take another sip. This is a every day Pinot Gris that is easily in the budget to savor on a daily basis during the summer.
