Susanna’s Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay checks all the boxes for Chardonnay lovers. The wine is generous on the palate and a well-made offering from winemaker Pete Soergel. The color opens with golden and yellow hues. The aromas are lovely, tropical with citrus zest, fresh cut apple, baked croissant and buttery popcorn. The acidity is noteworthy and precise. The palate is laced with juicy pineapple, orange curd and crème brulee, layered with a creamy texture, a hint of oak and spice on to a long generous finish.
