2022 Two Vintners Grenache Blanc, Columbia Valley

The name Two Vintners came from the collaboration between co-owner Morgan Lee and David and Cindy Lawson of Covington Cellars. Fruit is sourced from vineyards throughout Washington State. The Two Vintners brand was founded in 2009 when Morgan Lee was 29 years old and had no winemaking education. Today, Morgan oversees winemaking for Covington Cellars and their sister winery, Two Vintners.

This white is a blend of 96% Grenache Blanc and 4% Roussanne. It was fermented in French oak barrels of which 25% was new. The appealing light, pale yellow color opens with aromas of stone fruits and fresh salinity. There is a framework of white grapefruit, lemongrass a slivered almonds layered with a touch of caramelized honey. The addition of a small percentage of Roussanne enhances the dimension and weight of this wine increasing its overall richness and satiny texture. It remains well balanced and long it its expression.
