The La Marchigiana label honors the achievements of first generation Marchigiano Nicolas Catena who immigrated to Argentina crafting sulfite-free wines in Mendoza.

The 2023 Bodegas Y Vinedos Nicolas Catena La Marchigiana Malbec is a natural, sulfite-free wine fermented and aged in clay pots for 8 months. The grapes are sourced from vineyards planted in alluvial soils of gravel, loam and clay. This Malbec has brilliant purple-ruby edges with high toned red fruits. It renders a classic young Malbec expression with mixed berries, sage, a potpourri of spices and a hint of white pepper. It is not overly complex yet it fulfills your need to have a wine that is immediately enjoyable upon opening.
