Dr. Konstantin Frank ignited the "Vinifera Revolution", a movement that forever changed the course of wine growing in the Finger Lakes and the United States. Dr. Frank’s vision, knowledge and determination are credited with elevating the New York wine industry from a state of happy mediocrity to a level that today commands world attention.

Dr. Frank’s Wine Cellars is proud of its international winemaking team with each member bringing in their expertise. The talented group includes winemakers from California, Australia, France and Germany. The focus on world-class wines continues with each generation of the family with each member living up to the Frank Family tradition of excellence.

The wine is composed of 100% Riesling. It is a classic dry-style Riesling made from vines dating back to 1958 from both estate vineyard sites. In the glass, the color is a pale yellow, almost white. The nose releases candied tropical fruit, petrol and a hint of stone minerality. On the palate the flavor is harmonious, the fresh acidity gives the wine energy and a lift all the way through to the finish. There is a slight creaminess that I found very enjoyable and an experience of mouthwatering deliciousness. This rich Dry Riesling with elevated acidity pairs best with so many dishes.
