Fontanafredda Estate & Winery was founded in 1858 within the Langhe region of Piedmont, Italy. The Timorasso grape is a native Italian varietal from the hills near the town of Tortona. These vineyards face southwest and are composed of pulverized limestone sub-soils.

It is beautifully designed with pale yellow edges and a rich, floral aromatic bouquet of preserved Meyer Lemon rinds. Undertones of poached pear, beeswax, chamomile and spiced apples peels rise from the glass encased with vibrant acidity. The core is medium in body with tons of energetic citrus notes that keep this wine harmonious through the finish. This is a wonderful introduction to the well-designed whites from northern Italy.
