The 2023 Tablas Creek Vineyard Vermentino is Tablas Creek’s 22nd bottling of this traditional Mediterranean varietal, known principally in Sardinia, Corsica, and Northern Italy. It is also grown in the Rhone Valley (particularly in the Côtes de Provence) where it is known as Rolle.

These grapes were whole cluster pressed, and fermented using native yeasts in stainless steel. Crystalline clear in appearance this wine exudes a floral bouquet of field flowers. Clean and pure on the palate, there are elements of lime zest, guava and papaya along with tinges of bright green apple. This fruit-driven Vermentino is complemented with some racy acidity and finely chiseled stones in the background leading you to a fresh and well-balanced finish.
