2024 Saint Clair Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc, Marlbprough, New Zealand
For more than 40 years, Saint Clair Family Estate founders Neal and Judy Ibbotson have been growing acclaimed, award-winning Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. It remains as one of the most-awarded wineries in New Zealand. The family uses their extensive expertise, along with Marlborough’s unique mix of climate and soils in combination with the talent of one of New Zealand’s leading winemaking teams to create Saint Clair Origin Series Sauvignon Blanc.
The Origin Series Sauvignon Blanc is sourced entirely from the Dillons Point area of Marlborough, giving the wine its focused, tropical fruit-driven flavor profile and notes of minerality. The color opens with a pale yellow color that crystallizes in the glass. The aromas are exotic, as if you were enjoying this wine on the most beautiful island in the South Pacific. Out of the glass are notes of white flowers and array of tropical fruits with herbs and cut grass. The palate continues with a refreshing mouth-feel of sea spray and minerality. This is a classic, very well-made Sauvignon Blanc from Saint Clair.
