Champagne Ayala Rose´Majeur

The Champagne house of Ayala was founded by Edmond de Ayala in 1860. Champagne Ayala is one of the oldest houses in Champagne and has been part of the Bollinger portfolio since 2005. There are 35 acres of grand cru vineyards within the Ay region of Champagne. The vineyards for this flagship wine from Champagne Ayala are situated in the village of Ay within the region of Champagne. This cuvée is composed of 24 crus with a blend of 51% Chardonnay, 39% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Menunier. The base year for this Champagne is the 2019 vintage with 17% of reserve wine from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 vintages.

This expressive Champagne has a satiny mousse and a stylish introverted personality that is true to the character of this house. The coral blush of color showcases vibrant aromas of brioche, saline and field flowers. A symphony of cherry blossoms, crisp orchard fruits, orange peel and lightly roasted hazelnuts dance gracefully across the palate alongside a whisper of minerality. The finesse and harmonious balance of this Champagne leads you to a long and vibrant finish that will keep your attention throughout the evening.
