Champagne Billecart-Salmon Rose´

Jean Roland-Billecart in the 1970’s decided to craft a distinguished rosé Champagne that was pale in color, integrated with freshness and with a flavor of red berries. It became the House’s flagship cuvée. The Champagne Billecart- Salmon estate is 250 acres and grapes are sourced from 740 acres with 40 acres of cru vineyards in Champagne. The majority of the grapes derive around the area of Epernay. This rosé Champagne has always been revered by discerning consumers.

This cuvée is structured with 40% Chardonnay from the best Champagne crus, 30% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne and 30% Pinot Meunier. It is aged for 36 months on the lees with the addition of 40% of reserve wines.

Billecart-Salmon, known for its commitment to excellence, especially with rose´, has truly excelled with this Champagne. The pale coral hue is immediately captivating, setting the stage for a Champagne that embodies elegance and sophistication. The aromas remind you of waking up in the morning to the smell of freshly baked, crusted bread that is still in the oven.
The persistent and fine effervescence is a testament to its meticulous craftsmanship. This sensory journey leads you through a field of fresh red spring berries and star fruits that are laced with a dusting of crushed chalk. Once immersed in the soul of this wine you appreciate it’s grace and complexity as it effortlessly carries you to a well-balanced and memorable conclusion.
