Champagne Charles Heidsieck Rose´ Reserve

In 1851, French merchant Charles Camille Heidsieck at the young age of 29 established the Champagne house of Charles Heidsieck. He was referred to as “Champagne Charlie” and is credited with introducing Champagne to the US market.

With time and air, floral aromas of dried peonies and red currants dominate the nose. The mousse is brilliant and long lasting in the glass. Rich and flavorful, this is a mouth-filling and extremely well-balanced Rose´ Champagne with a refined personality and impressive length. Red raspberry coulis, ginger and pomegranate take center stage with an infusion of baking spices and delicately crushed stones creating a harmonious palate. There is an obvious satiny texture on the palate, which adds to the overall complexity of the core. This rose´ has terrific freshness and very present acidity suggesting a bright future for this cuvee. These elements all converge into a delightful and memorable finish.
