Champagne Henriot Blanc de Blancs ”Essence of Champagne”

This 8th generation family house was originally founded in 1808 by Apolline Henriot, widow of Nicolas Henriot. They commemorated their 200th Anniversary with the release of the 2008 vintage. Henriot cultivates 87 acres of vineyards with access to Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels, allowing them to showcase the purist expression of Chardonnay within their blends.

This 100% Chardonnay heralds from vineyards in the Cotes des Blanc and is the signature style from Champagne Henriot. The crystalline color has an elegant mousse with fresh crusted bread. There are some mineral elements mixed with sweet Meyer lemon and ripe apples. This Champagne remains long and focused in the middle with nice tension. This softly textured wine is engaging with a feminine and sleekly designed style.
