Champagne Krug Grande Cuvee 169 EME Edition

Visionary Joseph Krug established this brand in 1843. House director Olivier Krug is a sixth-generation family member dedicated to maintaining the uncompromising quality of this renowned house. There are 146 reserve wines from 11 vintages that make up the blend. The youngest of the reserves is from the 2013 vintage. It takes 20 years to craft a Krug Grand Cuvée.

The composition of this Champagne is 43% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 22% Meunier. This exquisite cuvee draws you into the glass with a bouquet of warm brioche and lemon balm. The constant stream of extremely fine bubbles guide you along the storied journey. White flower blossoms, crystallized ginger, stone peach and chamomile are delicately etched with limestone adding to the depth, precision and complexity of this wine. It is seductive and engaging on the palate with a finish that seems endless. This quintessential Champagne glides effortlessly across the palate leaving long lasting memories.
