Champagne Palmer Blanc de Blanc
The backbone of this Blanc de Blancs is Chardonnay sourced from three cru vineyards in Montagne de Reims and the Sézanne. This house ages their wine longer than the legal requirement; non-vintage bottlings are aged for 4 years and vintage bottlings for 5-8 years.
This NV Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) is sourced from the terroirs of Villars-Marmery and Trepail. It rests for five years on the yeast before being disgorged. This Champagne is softly textured with white citrus fruits, slivered almonds and a sense of sophistication. There are delicate mineral edges that are not distracting but add to the textural quality of this finely built Blanc de Blancs. Always among my favorites.
