La Tordera Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG
La Tordera is run by brothers Renato and Paolo, who are supported by their parents Pietro and Mirella. They inherited their love of wine from their great-grandfather Bepi Vettoretti, who planted the first vineyard in the Cartizze area in 1918. La Tordera is in the heart of the historic Valdobbiadene DOCG wine region. Only grapes from their own vineyards are processed in the cellar, which the family cultivates personally according to their philosophy of natural balance. The winemaker is Luciano Rebuli.
The La Tordera Cartizze is a wonderful expression from the Valdobbiadene DOCG wine region. It is elegant, refined, balanced and exhibits a sense of place that is totally recognizable by wine lovers of this region of Italy. In the glass the color is bright, brilliant silver green. The nose is fragrant with sweet floral, lemon zest, and white peach. The palate is elegant and fine, it has a juicy mouthfeel, but it is not too sweet, has a well-integrated creamy mousse, and the well-integrated acidity that carries through to a long finish. Bello e memorable!
