Le Colture Winery is situated in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene and has been managed by the Ruggeri family since the 1500’s. Cesare Ruggeri founded his sparkling wine business in 1983 and today the 111 acres of estate vineyards are under the guidance his children Silvia, Alberto, and Veronica.

This Valdobbiadene Superior di Cartizze has a crystalline, green tinged appearance with a fine, persistent mousse. Within are subtle floral aromas of meadow flowers and a whiff of fresh patisserie. This wine has a generous approach on the palate with caramelized citrus, candied orange zest and spiced apples that are framed by minerality and graceful tension. There is a hint of white cherries that add to the intrigue along with a wave of creaminess through the finish. This wine is 11% alcohol with 18 g/l of residual sugar.
