Marsuret Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Dry DOCG
Marsuret Winery was established in 1936 by Agostino Marsura. He purchased a vineyard in the Val de Cune in Guia de Valdobbiadene crafting his first sparkling wine. Family members Giovanni, Valter and Hermes oversee quality production and research at the winery. Today, there are 113 acres of vineyards spread across different microclimates in Valdobbiadene.
This wine is pale with a bouquet of acacia flowers and peonies. It is built on a framework of elegance with hints of green apple, herbs, pineapple, mint, fennel and a dusting of sea salt. There is a whiff of acidity that leads you to an off-dry core. The elegance and balanced acidity last long into the finish leading you to a memorable finish. This 100% Glera sparkling wine is 11.5% alcohol with 27 g/l of residual sugar. The grapes are harvested in mid-September.
