Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Cuvee Brut

In 1785, Heidsieck & Cie was founded in Reims, France by Florens-Louis Heidsieck. After the death Charles-Henri Heidsieck, nephew of Florens-Louis, his widow married Monsieur Piper. In 1838 Piper-Heidsieck was founded. Queen Marie Antoinette was the first brand ambassador for Heidseick & Cie.

The Cuvee Brut is a multi-vintage champagne comprised of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay with the addition of 30% of reserve wines. The higher percentage of Pinot Noir in this finely tuned, fragrant Champagne underscores elements of red plums, candied citrus flowers and baked apple cobbler. The core is fresh with vibrant acidity leading to a well-balanced ending.
