Rebuli Rinaldo Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG
Fonso Ribuli purchased land for these vineyards in 1930. In 1968 Fonso’s son, Angelo began producing and marketing bulk wine. Established in 1980, the winery Agricola Rebuli is located in Saccol di Valdobbiadene and is family-run. In 1992 the underground cellar was built and by 1996 the Riva di Campea vineyard was acquired. The estate has grown to 99 acres (with an additional 37 acres in Asolo). Today, Angelo has three sons working with him: Mauro is the winemaker; Marco manages the cultivation practice and Gianni Rebuli is a salesman.
This sparkler is 100% Glera from subsoils of limestone and subalkaline on the steep slopes that surround Valdobbiadene in Prosecco Superiore. It unveils a pristine yellow-straw hue that is immediately appealing upon opening as white flower blossom aromas greet you. Compact and concentrated with grilled pears and Mandarin orange undertones, this wine gives you the impression of sweetness, yet it leads you along a long creamy journey to an off-dry mid-palate and finish. There are multiple layers of yellow and red fruits with nicely rounded edges that flow effortlessly across the palate. This wine is fun-filled and provides a great aperitif to share with relatives and friends during any occasion. This wine is 11% alcohol with 6.2 g/l of acidity and 25 g/l of residual sugar.
