Seppi California Brut Rose´

Joseph Phelps was the owner of a large construction company in the US who decided to purchase a parcel of land off Silverado Trail within Napa Valley in the early 1970’s. Soon afterwards, he founded Joseph Phelps Vineyards on this site releasing his first vintage in 1973 and became one of the early pioneers in the valley.

The term Seppi was the nickname given to Joe by his grandchildren. He had preferred to be called “Giuseppe” but his grandchildren had difficulty with the pronunciation, choosing to call him Seppi instead. Joe’s granddaughter Kelsey pursued a career in law before deciding to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps by founding her own company.

This approachable and straightforward rose´ sparkling wine offers a persistent, soft effervescence. Bright cherry blossoms and white peach greet you on the entry with a hint of fresh acidity as it effortlessly carries you through to a caressing finish.
